Day by Day – Paradise to the Promised Land

Paradise to the Promised Land, being the eleventh volume in the popular Day by Day series, seeks to encourage the daily reading of scripture by providing a passage and a meditation derived from that particular passage. This latest volume focuses upon the very seed-plot of the scriptures. As before, twenty-four of the Lord’s servants from the UK and North America have contributed their time, effort and obvious gift to enable its compilation.

As the editor says in his introduction, ‘No one could read through the New Testament without appreciating how much of it is built upon and develops types and principles that are first revealed in the Old’. In this way the book contains material of a Christ-exalting and devotional character, meditations which are intensely practical, as well as teaching to strengthen the faith of all in the veracity of the scriptures.

In publishing this latest volume, it would be the desire of the Precious Seed trustees that this book might encourage saints to explore the Pentateuch, to appreciate its types and to apply its lessons. It is a book that is highly recommended as a worthy addition to this valuable series.
