The Englishman’s Bible

This Bible, used and valued by so many of the Lord’s people over the years was the result of more than:

• 60 years’ daily reading of the Sacred Scriptures;
• 50 years’ study of them;
• 40 years’ perusal in the original languages;
• 15 years’ editorial labour;
• At the expense of sixteen hundred pounds.

The Preface dedication to the first edition reads:
It is now sent forth with the earnest desire that the Church of God may share the benefit, and that thereby the voice of the Divine Eternal Spirit might be more distinctly heard in all its marvelous precision, certainty, and fullness.
