Our Future Programme

READERS WILL BE INTERESTED to know that PRECIOUS SEED Committee met for a three-day Conference at the beginning of last October to deal thoroughly with important matters for which adequate time could not be found at our bi-monthly Committee meetings.

Although constantly encouraged by testimonies to definite help received we have always felt that the demands of other work made it impossible to realize the full possibilities of the magazine. We are very pleased, therefore, to be able to say that at this Conference arrangements were made to enlist additional editorial help with a view to increasing the effectiveness of the magazine. A programme has been drawn up to cover a wide field of systematic teaching and we hope, D.V., to bring this into operation in a few months’ time.

Among other matters discussed was a new cover for the magazine, now that the present block is getting worn out. It was most difficult to make a final choice from the many excellent designs kindly submitted, but when funds permit of the new cover being produced we believe readers will agree that it is a great improvement, whilst retaining a recognizable link with the past.

Perhaps we ought to make it clear that the Conference did not involve any charge to the magazine funds, as each member bore his own expenses.
