Leonard Cave

It is with sorrow that we record the recent homecall of our beloved brother and fellow-worker. Coming on to the Committee of Precious Seed in 1966 he fulfilled the role of Secretary for many years, until declining health necessitated his relinquishing it in 1987. Saved at the age of seventeen he maintained a consistent witness to his faith in Christ for sixty years. He will be greatly missed by his wife and family, but the comfort of us all is in the sure knowledge that he is now ‘with Christ, which is far better’. A service of thanksgiving (which was attended by many local people including the Mayor of Cane), was conducted at The Gospel Hall, Cane, by our brother Arthur Shearman on August 12th 1988.
