His Glory

David Murray, Glasgow

‘And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth’.

JOHN 1. 14.

The Child born in Bethlehem
HIS GLORY did reveal,
He came to earth from heaven’s realm
Who had the Father’s seal.

‘And we beheld his glory’
John, through the Spirit said;
How wonderful the story,
He rose up from the dead.

Through faith we see the Son of God
And all His glory view;
Like those with whom this earth He trod:
The holy One and True.

And all who do His glory own
Acknowledge Him as Lord,
Whose wondrous grace to them was shown:
He is by them adored.

The day is fast approaching when
We’ll all HIS GLORY see,
No night shall break the daylight then
Where we with Him shall be.
